Edward Woollard has been sentenced to two years and eight months in a youth detention centre. He is the student who dropped a fire extinguisher from the roof of Millbank Tower during protests on 10 November,

Edward, aged 18, pled guilty to violent disorder and will serve at least half of his sentence.

He was one of 66 people arrested on the day, when more than 50,000 students poured onto the streets of London and hundreds occupied Tory Party HQ in Millbank Tower.
