A report has exposed some of the horrors of Nato’s bombing campaign on Libya last year.
The charity Human Rights Watch has found evidence of a bombing raid on a village east of Tripoli on 8 August.
Initial airstrikes that killed 16 civilians were followed by another raid shortly after. This killed 18 who had rushed to help the wounded and dying.
At least 72 civilians were killed by Nato, according to the report. Nato refuses to take responsibility for the deaths and has offered no compensation.
