THE 16 anti-capitalist protesters arrested for mounting the roof of a Nestl factory with a banner during the N30 protests against the World Trade Organisation walked free last week from their court hearing. All the charges against the 16 were dropped. The original protest was over Nestl’s role in selling unsuitable baby milk in the developing world, and also because the head of Nestl is a key figure in the bosses’ International Chamber of Commerce.
