Sam Hallam, who has been imprisoned since 2004, will have his case reviewed in the Court of Appeal this week.

Sam was convicted of murder—a crime he denies.

Evidence at his Old Bailey trial, placing him near the scene where Essayas Kassahun was killed, was riddled with inconsistencies.

Sam was sentenced to life imprisonment, but his legal and campaign team are confident that new evidence from Sam’s mobile phone places him elsewhere when the attack took place.
