Students at the University of Sussex are continuing their campaign against bosses’ attempts to discipline five students for their role in an occupation last year.
Hundreds of students and staff took part in solidarity meetings and protests and gathered almost 10,000 petition signatures for their reinstatement at the end of last year. Under pressure, management lifted the suspensions they placed on the five.
But the students still face disciplinary action at hearings on Friday of next week.
A solidarity demonstration has been organised to keep up the pressure.
