Families of 20 of 300 people killed by British soldiers in Northern Ireland are suing chief constable Matt Baggott, head of the Historic Enquiries Team.

This follows a report arguing that the team, which was set up to re-examine the deaths, failed to investigate killings by soldiers properly.

One of the families suing is that of Maura Meehan and Dorothy Maguire.

They were unarmed when they were shot dead in 1971.
