Local residents and activists outnumbered anti-abortion bigots in Stratford, east London, last Saturday.
The 40 Days For Life group are targeting the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS).
They have been harassing and intimidating women seeking advice and abortions, as well as BPAS staff entering the clinic, with daily “vigils” since 25 September.
Two dozen Abortion Rights protesters challenged the bigots last Saturday and stopped them approaching women entering BPAS. Protesters then marched to a rally at Stratford Centre.
Supporters of the anti-abortion Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child were set to hold a procession to the clinic this Saturday, with another “vigil” from 9.30-11.45am.
Last year they brought supporters from far and wide but were still outnumbered.
