Hundreds of people protested at Hinkley Point nuclear power station in Somerset last Saturday. The event marked the first anniversary of the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan.

A tsunami caused by an earthquake destroyed the Fukushima nuclear plant, releasing masses of radiation into the environment.

EDF owns the Hinkley Point power station.

The site is earmarked for a new nuclear plant.
