Activists involved in the UK Uncut anti-tax avoidance group shut down more than 40 branches of Barclays bank last Saturday.
People turned branches into libraries, comedy venues, health centres and creches. Branches were shut down in Oxford, Manchester, Durham, Luton, Liverpool, Cambridge, Birmingham and London among others. Activists plan further protests this weekend.
