Pensioners in the West Midlands have won a victory against public transport body Centro.
Following a campaign by West Midlands Pensioners’ Convention the Ring and Ride service used by thousands of elderly and disabled people will not be axed.
The campaign also stopped transport bosses withdrawing concessionary travel on local trains and trams.
And it made sure they kept half-price bus fares for children.
