The RMT transport union has organised a public meeting against the victimisation of its activists on London Underground for Thursday of next week.

The union’s general secretary Bob Crow will speak at the meeting.

Bosses have victimised and sacked Eamon Lynch and Arwyn Thomas, leading to strikes.

Members of the RMT and TSSA unions on London Underground struck four times last year against job cuts.

A review of the implications of the cuts is ongoing, though the unions are opposed to all job cuts.

RMT rep Peter Hartshorn was reinstated on appeal last week with his dismissal suspended for one year.

The meeting is to take place at 6pm, Thursday 17 February, Friends House, Euston Road, London.
