Education secretary Michael Gove has proudly announced a pupil premium for poorer pupils—but it’s recycled money and he’s been forced to admit it!
The payment is allocated to schools that take poorer pupils.

Gove has acknowledged that some schools will face cuts in order to make the payments.
And he has admitted that, “Some of it comes from within the Department for Education budget, yes.”
