Health workers in Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, south London, were set to strike over terms and conditions on Wednesday of this week.
The workers, in the GMB union, are employed by private subcontractor ISS as cleaners, porters, caterers and switchboard operators.
They are fighting for equal pay, weekend and unsocial hours rates as workers who are directly employed by the NHS trust.
