Some 100 anti-fascists blocked a march of the racist South Wales Alliance in Cardiff last Saturday.
Only 40 fascists and racists turned up.
They intended to drink in the Peppermint Lounge, but the pub closed its doors to them.
They planned to march up St Mary’s Street, along Queen Street and to rally at City Hall. They were blocked at every stage.
Police steered the racists to a rally outside Cardiff Central Police Station.
An English Defence League (EDL) protest in Leeds was also a flop with 30 turning up.
The EDL has called a demonstration in Rotherham for Saturday of next week. In September it drew some 700 racists to the town.
Unite Against Fascism is organising a counter demonstration.
