Protesters rallied against cuts to youth services in Derbyshire on Wednesday of last week.
They gathered outside County Hall in Matlock before a council debate sparked by their 16,000‑strong petition to defend youth services.
The cuts would hit 29 youth centres. Up to 157 youth workers would lose their jobs.
Some youth centre buildings would be sold off and the county’s mobile service ended.
The local Unison union branch backed the rally.
