TENS OF thousands of people—black, white and Asian—joined the Respect anti-racist festival in London’s Victoria Park last Saturday.
The event was organised by London mayor Ken Livingstone, trade unions and anti-racist campaigns.
There was a great atmosphere of fun and unity.
As well as listening to a big range of musical acts, vast numbers also visited the union and campaign stalls.
