Anti-workfare activists harangued Tory minister Iain Duncan Smith outside Tottenham town hall in north London this morning (Friday).

Right to Work campaigner Mark Dunk brandished documents at the minister that prove workfare is mandatory for people on benefits.

It shows how recruitment firm Avanta sent people on benefits to mandatory work placements at Asda, Pizza Hut, Wilkinsons and Poundland among others.

The document had been published on the Department of Work and Pensions website—but has since been removed.

Campaigners against workfare are holding protests all over the country tomorrow (Saturday). For details of the protests go to the boycottworkfare.org website.
