RMT union members are to rally and lobby parliament on Wednesday of next week against Network Rail’s plans to axe 1,500 maintenance jobs.
The union is also planning a national ballot for industrial action of its rail maintenance staff.
The RMT’s Cuts Cost Lives lobby will take place at 12.30pm, Wednesday 27 January, at Old Palace Yard, opposite the House of Commons, London. Rally at 2.15pm in Committee Room 14.
