The Scottish TUC has called a demonstration in Glasgow on Saturday 1 October to resist Tory attacks.

Dave Sherry, secretary of the Unite union’s Scottish Housing branch, said, “People already knew why this march was important—but it’s even more important now that strikes are on the agenda in November.

“This can be part of the process of building for the strikes. Everyone is going all out to build it.”

The Right to Work campaign in Scotland has also organised transport to the march against the Tory Party conference in Manchester the following day.

People First march and rally. Assemble 11.30am Glasgow Green, 1 October. March to Kelvingrove Park
