Council workers in Shropshire have voted by 74 percent to strike in an indicative ballot.
“We could not have asked for more of a ringing endorsement for action,” said Unison branch secretary Alan James.
The council plans to dismiss all 6,500 workers on 30 September to ram through 5 percent pay cuts.
