Some 50 people with numerous campaign stalls gathered for a solidarity day in Lewisham, south east London, on Saturday of last week.
It was in response to an attack by supporters of the racist English Defence League against a Socialist Worker stall in Lewisham two weeks previously.
Pensioner Andrew Smith was headbutted in the attack then hospitalised with serious injuries to his eye.
