Workers at Swissport have voted to accept an improved pay offer of 4 percent for 2008-2009 backdated to 1 April.

In year two a nine month deal has been agreed with an increase in line with the RPI rate of inflation with a minimum guarantee of 2.75 percent and a cap of 5 percent.

Negotiations will be reopened if the RPI is above 5 percent. Swissport’s proposals to change the current sick pay arrangements will no longer take place.
