Global wealth became even more concentrated at the top of society last year.
A report released by the Boston Consulting Group shows that less than 1 percent of the richest own 38 percent of the world’s wealth, up from 36 percent in 2008.
Households worth more than $5 million make up just 0.1 percent of the world’s population—yet control 21 percent of the world’s wealth, up from 19 percent in 2008.
Bosses in Britain are no exception. Sainsbury’s boss Justin King banked almost £8 million last year.
And they say public sector workers are overpaid!
