Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been arrested—but not for trafficking and abusing young women and girls.
Police arrested the former prince on suspicion of “misconduct in public office” on Thursday. He is suspected of handing over secrets to Jeffrey Epstein when the then prince was jet setting in his official role of “trade envoy” for the British government.
Thames Valley police previously said they were also reviewing allegations that a woman was trafficked to Britain by Epstein for Mountbatten Windsor.
He might want to consider handing over his belt and shoelaces before he is locked up in a cell—remember what happened to his pal Epstein.
Whatever the charges, Mountbatten Windsor is only facing any kind of justice because of the courage of the survivors of sexual abuse.
He denied knowing Virginia Giuffre. He denied the photo of them together was real. He claimed to be in a Pizza Express in Woking when she claimed one incident of abuse took place.
He said Giuffre’s description of him as sweaty at a nightclub was a lie because an “overdose of adrenaline in the Falklands war” had left him unable to sweat.
But we know Giuffre was telling the truth when she wrote that he “believed having sex with me was his birthright”.
There was a growing sense of fury that Mountbatten Windsor “punishment” was to be shuffled off to a renovated cottage on King Charles’ estate.
Andrew has also been arrested because he is now expendable. He only had one currency—his birth, his royal status, his access to the late queen and royal palaces. He was prepared to flog that royalty to the highest bidder.
So Mountbatten Windsor invited Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and rapist Harvey Weinstein to his daughter Beatrice’s lavish 18th birthday party at Windsor Castle in 2006.
And never forget, Mountbatten Windsor stayed with Epstein in New York after the billionaire paedophile’s conviction for child trafficking in 2008. Photographs showed the former prince opening the door of Epstein’s palatial East Side townhouse in December 2010 before the pair had a cosy stroll through Central Park.
The new emails reveal that Mountbatten Windsor secretly told Epstein, “We are in this together,” and, “We’ll play some more soon,” in February 2011. He later claimed to Emily Maitles on BBC Newsnight that he cut all ties three months before those emails were sent.
Mountbatten Windsor was once known as the “playboy prince” enjoying the protection of the late queen. But he was always a hideous, arrogant bully.
He was not Epstein’s friend despite sexual abuse. Their friendship was built on the sexual exploitation of others. Epstein never hid his systematic abuse of underage girls—it was his unique selling point and he advertised it. His private jet was called the Lolita Express.
For more than two decades, Mountbatten Windsor partied with Epstein and Maxwell at a string of luxurious locations, including the prince’s opulent ski chalet, Windsor Castle, Balmoral and Donald Trump’s pad in Palm Beach.
The then prince attended naked pool parties and was treated to numerous foot massages by a “harem” of teenage girls, according to sworn testimony by a former Epstein employee.
Mountbatten Windsor—who liked to drop rubbish on the floor and make his servants pick it up—was wanted only because he was royal. Epstein was wanted while he had access to money and contacts.
After exploiting his royal status to play soldiers during the early 1980s, Mountbatten Windsor became a “British Trade Ambassador”. There is no record of him benefitting trade, but he certainly benefited Andrew PLC by cultivating associations with a host of vicious, violent and venal dictators.
He dined out on his royal connections, using Buckingham Palace to impress the billionaire son-in-law of deposed Tunisian dictator Ben Ali.
“Air Miles Andy” flew to Egypt with David “Spotty” Rowland—who gave Mountbatten Windsor’s former wife Sarah Ferguson £50,000—to dine with the corrupt president of Kazakhstan.
The president’s son-in-law bought Mountbatten Windsor’s unwanted mansion for £15 million, a cool £3 million more than the asking price.
And the whole royal family were happy to fawn around Epstein when they thought he might increase their huge fortunes. Epstein was a guest at a party hosted by the queen at Windsor Castle in 2000.
After Epstein was released from prison and rumours began to swirl, the queen invested her son with the insignia of a King Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order. It was the highest honour she could give him. The palace repeatedly denied that he had done anything wrong.
In 2011, Mountbatten Windsor tried to get his police bodyguard to dig up dirt on Giuffre. He wanted to smear Giuffre just hours before a picture of him with his arm around her waist—when she was the 17-year old—was published.
The late Queen Elizabeth knew all about it. Mountbatten Windsor told Ed Perkins, the queen’s deputy press secretary, that he had asked his personal protection officer to do it.
He claimed Giuffre had a criminal record in the United States—this was a lie. And he got hold of her social security number illegally.
Other newly released emails suggest that Epstein set the paedophile prince up on a dinner date with a second young woman. She says Epstein sexually abused her for years.
Another email shows that the former prince’s family maintained ties with Epstein. Ferguson, and daughters princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, were the first people to visit Epstein after his release from jail for child sex offences.
Ferguson begged Epstein to lend her up to $100,000 and pleaded to be allowed to visit his notorious private island.
She has been stripped of her title after emails showed she called Epstein her “supreme friend” months after she claimed she had cut ties.
The royal family has done everything possible to protect Mountbatten Windsor. The parasites have to express a few words of fake concerns for the victims of this grooming gang.
They enabled Mountbatten Windsor for decades. The whole lot should go.
Not one man, apart from Epstein himself, has faced any criminal charges relating to the documented abuse of hundreds of women and girls.
And now the spotlight will turn on Peter Mandelson—another man who has repeatedly turned public office into a source of private enrichment. Mandelson should be in the dock. And so should all those who dined at Epstein’s table.
