Workers in hundreds of post offices struck for the third time on Monday of this week.

Members of the CWU union oppose plans to close or sell off 76 offices, warning that 800 jobs would be affected.

CWU national officer Andy Furey said, “We can help the Post Office find a positive way forward. But they must be prepared to listen to the staff who voted by nine to one to back strikes.

“Without negotiation this dispute will continue.”
