Some 380 bus drivers were set to strike in Bradford on Monday and Tuesday of next week. The Unite union members are fighting job cuts.
Unite accuses First West Yorkshire bosses of running the bus depot down with the intention of closing it in the future.
They have attacked terms and conditions, imposed new rosters and moved jobs out of Bradford without consulting workers.
The union also said that there were allegations of bullying and harassment.
The RMT rail union has announced it will move to a national ballot for strikes and action short of strikes at Network Rail after bosses failed to improve a pay offer.
The union said the latest offer was well short of what is required to maintain the living standards, job security and working conditions of its 16,000 members.
