Karen Reissmann, the whistle-blowing nurse and trade union activist who was sacked after more than two decades of service, continues to fight her case.
Unison is taking Karen’s former employers to an Employment Tribunal that begins on 1 September.
Karen’s Manchester community and mental health branch of Unison has called a “show of support” for her on the opening day.
The branch is urging all those who supported Karen and the strike for her reinstatement to continue backing them at this crucial time.
Support Karen Reissmann, 8.30am–10am, Monday 1 September, Parsonage Gardens, Deansgate, Manchester.
