Unison United Left calls for left vote in Unison national executive elections

Voting has started in the elections for the Unison national executive.

The Unison United Left is calling for support for its own candidates, and other candidates of the left.

For the national positions vote:

• Local government – Mandy Berger, Emma Goodall, Paul Holmes, Glenn Kelly
• Health – Kate Ahrens, Alison Brown, Paul Harper, Len Hockey
• Transport – Tony Wilson
• Higher Education – Tom Silverlock
• Young Members – Daniel Roberts
• Additional members – Raph Parkinson

There are also elections in each region. Here left candidates include:

• Greater London –
  Female seats: Marsha Jane Thompson, Phoebe Watkins
  Male seat: Jon Rogers
• South West –
  Female seat: Chrissie Gardner
• Northern –
  Male seat: Alan Docherty
• North West –
  Female seats: Bernadette Gallagher, Frances Kelly
• South East –
  Female seats: Diana Leach, Jessie Russel.
  Male seat: Mike Tucker
• East Midlands –
  Male seat: Richard Buckwell
