Anti-fascist activists will be discussing the fight against the Nazi BNP at the Unite Against Fascism (UAF) national conference, which is due to take place this Saturday 1 March at the TUC Congress House in central London.
The event will discuss how to combat the threat posed by the BNP at the local elections on 1 May. It also includes a session dedicated to the Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) campaign, featuring artists such as Dirty Pretty Things, Natty and Jerry Dammers.
LMHR is hosting a huge free carnival in Victoria Park on Sunday 27 April to mark the 30th anniversary of the 1978 anti-fascist carnival.
