Two men were hurt in an attack on a gay bar in Leicester on Monday of last week.

A man was turned away from the bar for inappropriate behaviour. He later returned and threw a flaming bottle into the beer garden.

Some 150 people held a vigil in Leicester on Friday of last week in response. Many people stopped and joined the protest.

Hundreds more gathered for a vigil against hate crime in London on the same day.

Both men are recovering in hospital.
