Voucher betrayal
THE GOVERNMENT has enraged trade union leaders and refugee campaigners by deciding not to abolish the voucher scheme. The betrayal was revealed in the Times this week.

New Labour had been forced to abandon the checkpoint after three weeks because of a public outcry at the racism of immigration officials.
