Breivik was able to live a life of leisure as he prepared the massacre.

In his manifesto he claims to be a millionaire “entrepreneur” with a string of companies.

But there is no evidence he had any job, or even grew anything on his farm, using all his fertiliser to make bombs instead.

Yet in 2007, £70,000 was mysteriously deposited in his bank account, apparently from offshore.

The trail goes cold after that. But it’s a strange sort of “lone wolf” who can make large sums of money just appear.
