It is with great sadness that we have to announce that Julie Waterson died this afternoon after an illness.

Julie had been a member of the Socialist Workers Party for over 30 years.

She worked as an SWP industrial organiser, a journalist on Socialist Worker and was on the central committee, the leading body of the party, for many years.

For many Julie will be best remembered for her role in organising against the fascists and building the Anti Nazi League.

Our thoughts are with all her family, friends and comrades who will miss her terribly.
