Description

As this pamphlet is published we are in the middle of an economic and political crisis, the depth of which we can only guess at.

Today, socialists have a responsibility to provide an explanation of how we have come to this.  We need to show how climate crisis has turned into health crisis, and how that has turned into an economic and political one.

That is what this pamphlet aims to do. With special additional materials focusing on Africa as the pandemic takes root there, and a critique of globalisation and its impact on health services, we provide a Marxist analysis laying bare the pandemic as the feral offspring of capitalism’s ruthless thirst for profit.
