Studio Strike, a radical artists’ collective, is holding a series of events in London to mark the 100th anniversary of the famous “bread and roses” strike by US textile workers.
Films on show include Amreeka, Inside Job and Michael Moore’s Capitalism: A Love Story. Most screenings are free and take place at community cinemas.
Other events include a talk this Saturday by Anna Fox, who will be discussing her photos of the office workers in the 1980s. It takes place at Studio Strike’s headquarters above the Bread and Roses pub, 68 Clapham Manor Street, London SW4 6DX.
