Some 60,000 people protested in Manchester’s St Peter’s Field 194 years ago this Friday. Armed cavalry killed 15.

The Peterloo Massacre sparked outrage, including Percy Bysshe Shelley’s poem The Masque of Anarchy. 

This new graphic novel tells the poem’s story, from conception to censorship—and the inspiration it later gave workers.
