Now, predictably, we have the Hollywood blockbuster version.

Daniel Craig steps into the shoes of journalist Mikael Blomkvist. But the real lead here is computer hacker Lisbeth Salander, played by Rooney Mara.

This isn’t a vital addition to the series. Oplev’s trilogy of films did the job well. But if you’ve yet to read the books, do that first.
