Over 200 people attended a protest in Blackpool against a British National Party (BNP) conference held in the town last Saturday.

Anti-fascist activists have stepped up their campaign to block plans by the Oxford Union debating club to host a pair of Nazis next month.

Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) has launched its biggest initiative to date – a 29-track double CD compilation featuring exclusive tracks from some of the country’s biggest acts, including Babyshambles, Lethal Bizzle, The Enemy and Roll Deep.

A former British National Party election candidate and a dentist stockpiled chemicals as part of a bomb plot, a court heard yesterday.

Over 300 local people demonstrated in Corsham, Wiltshire, against a BNP member claiming a seat on the town council. BNP councillor Michael Simpkins took the ward of Rudloe uncontested in the May council elections. The protest, on last Monday, 11 June, received favourable media coverage. Local television covered it with the phrase, "when voting apathy became anger".
