Transport workers in the North West of England were set to stage a 24 hour coordinated strike on Wednesday of next week.

Over 2,000 bus workers in north west England have struck for two days over pay. Unite and GMB union members at Arriva buses struck on Thursday last week and Monday this week.

Some 2,000 bus workers at Arriva North West were set to walk out over pay on Thursday.
