Health bosses are cooking up a frantic plan to use doctors, nurses and other medics to run ambulances during tomorrow’s NHS strike, Socialist Worker can reveal.
The planned joint strike of hundreds of thousands of local government workers in the Unison, GMB and Unite unions on Tuesday of next week has been suspended.
Workers at Defence Support Group (DSG), the Ministry of Defence equipment repair agency, unanimously voted to strike for three days at a mass meeting at Donnington on Monday of this week.
