Some 79 percent fewer workplace disputes reached Employment Tribunals in the final quarter of last year compared to the same period in 2012.
The fall coincided with the introduction of charges for workers wishing to have their cases heard.
It now costs £250 to lodge a claim, with tribunal hearings charged at between £960 and £1,060.
Some 45,240 claims were received in the final quarter of 2012. The comparable figure for 2013 is 9,801.
