The Tory MP who has been leading the charge against union facility time has been caught attending a Nazi-themed stag party.
MP Aidan Burley’s friends shouted Nazi slogans in a restaurant at posh French ski resort Val Thorens—and raised a toast to the Third Reich.
The “stag”, Mark Fournier, is a pal of Burley’s from their time at Oxford together.
He dressed up as an SS officer, which is illegal in France.
Some of the group chanted “Hitler, Hitler, Hitler”, did Nazi salutes and insulted waiters.
The MP was filmed sitting beside Mark’s brother, John, as he said, “Let’s raise a toast to Tom for organising the stag do, and if we’re perfectly honest, to the ideology and thought process of the Third Reich.”
Aidan Burley has been heading up the so-called Trade Union Reform Campaign, set up to attack union reps and recently endorsed by David Cameron.
But since the revelations, he seems to have gone quiet.
