Some 150 workers at Thera East Midlands, which supports people with learning disabilities, struck on Thursday of last week over pay and conditions.

They are Unison union members, many in jobs privatised by councils or the NHS. Workers on £7.59 an hour face a cut while bosses on more than £100,000 a year give themselves a raise.

Strikers protested at Thera’s office in Grantham.
