A High Court judge last week dismissed the PCS union and Prison Officers Association’s challenge to the government’s imposition of cuts to civil service redundancy pay.
The union is to take further legal advice on the case. But it has pledged to continue the fight against the attacks, which was part of a number of issues it struck over on 30 June.
It is continuing to discuss coordinating strikes with other unions, including the ATL, NUT and UCU, in the autumn.
