More than a thousand people marched through Glasgow on Saturday of last week on the annual Scottish TUC anti-racist demonstration.
The spirit of the march was particularly determined this year. There is continuing support for the rights of asylum seekers dispersed to Scotland and opposition to Islamophobia and the “war on terror”. People have been angered by the British National Party’s (BNP) attempts to build here.
The Nazi BNP will not be allowed to spread their hate, violence and division in our communities.
