Over 40 branches of Sports Direct across Britain saw protests on Wednesday of last week. They were organised by Unite union members, against zero hours, agency contracts and draconian workplace practices.
The protests coincided with the AGM of Sports Direct, where multimillionaire owner Mike Ashley faced opposition inside and outside the meeting.
At the huge warehouse in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, up to 100 campaigners gave out leaflets in English and Polish.
Some dressed in Victorian clothing to make the point that the factory is more like a workhouse than a workplace.
