Union rep Max Watson will appeal against his compulsory redundancy on Thursday of this week.
Max is branch secretary of the Unison union at London Metropolitan University.
He is the only worker in his faculty facing compulsory redundancy.
The union believes bosses are deliberately targeting Max because he has led a series of struggles against cuts.
His supporters plan to protest on the day.
