The Unite union has called a new strike ballot at British Airways.
Cabin crew voted overwhelmingly for strikes last month—by just under 80 percent on a 75 percent turnout.
They face a series of assaults on their jobs, pay, conditions and union rights.
But Unite declared the ballot invalid after BA bosses claimed that it was unlawful. This was a mistake.
The new ballot will begin on Tuesday of next week, 1 March, and run until 28 March.
Crew must go all out to build the yes vote. But there are many other things Unite can do to build the fight against BA bosses at the same time.
Unite general secretary, Len McCluskey, could call a meeting of Unite members both inside and outside BA to broaden the fight and allow members to discuss the battle.
Some Unite members have already called on him to do so. Workers must pile the pressure on McCluskey to throw the full weight of the union behind cabin crew.
Crew have the power to beat BA.
