The new album by the Malian artists Amadou & Mariam features special guest appearances by Keziah Jones, ‘M’, Tiken Jah Fakoli, Toumani Diabate and Juan Rozoff.
The follow-up album to their global breakthrough Dimanche à Bamako showcases their sweet melodies and funky rhythms.
But the album’s opening track ‘Sabali’, produced by Damon Albarn, is an extraordinary mix of Albarn’s ghostly keyboards and Mariam’s gorgeous voice.
