Elections for the postal executive of the CWU union saw left candidates keep their positions. Socialist Worker supporter Jane Loftus was re-elected with one of the best votes, drawing support from all regions of the union.
Some of us are worried that the elections are driven by where candidates come from rather than by their politics. The right started this division. It is up to the left to seriously consider how to tackle it now. It cannot be healthy to have nobody from either Scotland or Wales on the executive.
Perhaps next time we need a proper left slate, supported by activists across Britain.
